To my opinion the two hard working sisters deserve this award. They beat some great competition with other candidates such as Marc Jacobs and Proenza Schouler.
An incredible night for the two former-child stars as they received their prize for their label The Row ( http://www.therow.com/ ) which they only launched in 2007.
The real strength of the Row has been how these two fashion forward sisters make a clean cut looks effortless and luxurious. I'd say making a complex process look simple is somewhat the story of these two smart and well trained business women's style life.
The collection.
From their pearl,mint and white silky smooth clean cut jumpsuits, trousers,marine striped Tees and blazers for their Resort and Spring 2012 collections to the unpretentious luxurious pencil skirts, peacoats and navy chenille,woven with lurex pants ( I know crazy right?) they brought to the Pre-Fall and Fall 2012 collections, these Olsens are on top of their game!
I for one definitely admire the Olsens for being the business women they are!
